Such lovely people who genuinely care about the food the provide. We stopped off before visiting the theatre and the prices are fair, gluten free available full time with no extra charges or time restrictions! Cooked fresh and the batter was perfect! Portions were great too! Well recommend and thank you

Great fish and chips! The staff are lovely and kind. Has a small seating area inside but they do have outdoor seating at the back of there no space. What great about this place is that they cook their fish on demand so it always be fresh.

Best chip shop in long eaton, food always top notch. Just wish it was open more regularly and maybe later in the evening. Staff friendly also . Alot of the food is freshly made.

Just stopped by and shared a large cod and chips deal with curry sauce. Everything was DELICIOUS being cooked in beef dripping is the clincher! The batter was divine super crispy and battery bits too. Can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic.

I go here once a week while I charge my van. The food is outstanding and the staff are great. It's the highlight of my working week and I always leave a tip for the staff. This place is by far the best place for fish and chips in the area, well done for providing a great quality product at a fair price. Thank you.

Been here twice this week for there Gluten Free fish and chips. Food was spot on. They even do gluten free pineapple fritters and gf potato fritters. Definitely be coming back, when I'm down this way again.. It's a Thumbs up from me 👍🙂

Wow…. As in the name … THE BEST of British fish & Chip Shop! I am Coeliac and after a quick google found this absolute gem! We were served by Derek who was so helpful with my Coeliac needs, very informative and great care for no cross contamination… ! I have never had such beautiful, crunchy and delicious batter…. Soft perfect melting white fish … and THE most scrumptious beef dripping chips that were the best I have EVER had and all Gluten free!!!! My partner had ‘normal’ fish & chips and also said that they were the best he has EVER had. Sorry didn’t have chance to take a pic of the food… so the empty plates will have to do for now! Now the one and only chippy for us…. See you soon 😊
